The gradient of the Okavango Delta is about 1:5000. Meaning that it falls only one meter in five kilometers. This causes the thousands of waterways to meander a slow and winding track across the Kalahari, seeping into the sand as it goes.

This creepy monster flies far above me at Zeitz MOCAA (Museum of Contemporary Art, Africa) in Cape Town, appearing to drip blood from its wings. The cavern in which it flies is the hollowed out remains of columns of vast concrete grain silos. This is the new “must see” in Cape Town and you need a few hours to see the entire museum. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
